In the southeast of Europe is Bulgaria. The climate in Bulgaria is generally pleasant. Summers tend to be quite warm, with temperatures reaching around 30 degrees Celsius and an average of 11 hours sunshine in July. Rainfall is fairly moderate throughout the year no matter what season.

Winters tend to be a little warmer along the coast near Varna. Bulgaria also receives snow in the winter, sometimes in spring too. Snow can still be seen on the highest mountains and the higher you are in the country, the colder the weather becomes. Climate such as this makes it perfect to indulge in some winter sports.
