Runaway Bay

Runaway Bay was the first part of Jamaica that Columbus saw, and it is now a relaxed resort with shops, restaurants, bars and hotels. Life here happens at a slower pace than the larger resorts, so take the opportunity to sample local restaurants specialising in spicy seafood dishes, and take a boat ride through an underground lake at the Green Grotto Caves.
