One of the first areas of Tenerife to be specially developed for tourism, Costa del Silencio has been continually occupied for 40 years and is one of the islands most popular resorts. A mere 12km away from Playa de las Americas it makes a great base for those on last minute holidays to Tenerife who want some peace and to relax in the day but a wild nightlife.

The small development holds a harbour with a smart promenade that has recently attracted some very reasonably priced high quality restaurants as well as bars and shops that draw in local and foreign visitors alike. Despite there not being a beach there are plenty of beautiful pools that provide a great setting for relaxing and sunbathing.
