If there’s a European resort that can handle a whole five day’s worth of 24/7 partying then it’s definitely Benidorm.

24/7 Fiesta

Some might call Benidorm a bit greedy, it’s already packed full of shops, nightclubs and resorts; which are usually located near to the two curved beaches making up its coastline. Its affordability factor gives it even more strings to its holiday deals bow – and that’s without even mentioning all the parties it celebrates throughout the year. Fiesta Week is held in honour of the town’s patron saints and from November 10 to the 14th floats glide down the packed flower-decorated streets, where dancing, theatre shows and live music give Benidorm even more of a party attitude. The event ends with an amazing fireworks display, watched by locals and visitors from all over. Even if you miss out on this event, don’t be disheartened – Benidorm hosts over 50 celebrations like this every year.


Show That Never Stops

Away from Fiesta Week and all the colourful parades, Benidorm is as lively as ever, with local theme park Terra Mitica pulling out all the stops for Halloween. The theme park has a good range of white knuckle rides for adults and attractions for younger kids. Mundomar is another handy theme park, especially if you’re thinking about a winter Benidorm holiday – because it’s open all year round. Kept in habitats as much like their own as possible, there are exotic birds, sea lions – as well as a dolphin show to see. If you’ve still got an appetite for fun, then a trip to the Benidorm Circus could suit. The show is filled with circus favourites, like balancing acts, clowns magicians and jugglers.


Around Benidorm

The town’s marina is a good place to start if you want to recharge your batteries in-between all the fun and frolics. Here you can find your sea legs for a few hours and take a boat trip to the nearby Tabarca Island, one of many sun drenched islands off the Costa Blanca, where fresh sea food, snorkelling and cove jumping mean you can make the most of your cheap holidays. Back on the mainland, day trips to natural waterfall Algar Falls and the Canelobre Caves give you a few hours to unwind ready for the 24/7 fiesta fun.
