Whatever month of the year you’re looking to escape the UK in, I guarantee there is a hot destination somewhere in the world just for you. Whether you’re looking for a beach holiday or somewhere you can explore history and culture, one of these amazing destinations will suit you perfectly.

January – The Caribbean

In the gloomy winter months when the excitement of Christmas is over you could look to escape to the warmth of The Caribbean. The string of tropical islands, which includes Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Cuba and St Lucia can enjoy temperatures in the high 20’s; much better than what you’d see in the UK.

February – Dubai

If you want to visit Dubai there is no better time than February; temperatures reach highs of 25°C which is more bearable than during the summer months when the emirate state hits 40°C. You can make the most of the incredible beaches and architecture that surrounds this modern destination.

March – Florida

The sunshine state is a favourite for families looking for a once in a lifetime holiday. With attractions such as Universal Studios, Busch Gardens and the unmistakeable Walt Disney World, there’s no better place to let the kid’s imaginations run wild. And because you’ll be visiting in the quieter months, the parks won’t be as busy and the perfect temperature with highs of 27°C.

April – Cape Verde

If you want nothing more than to relax in uninterrupted sunshine then Cape Verde is perfect for you. There’s no time difference so you won’t even suffer from the dreaded jet lag and with temperatures hovering around 26°C in April, it’s one of the best places to forget the day to day stresses of life.

May – Canary Islands

Whether you’re looking at Tenerife, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria or Lanzarote they won’t disappoint in the month of May with temperatures in the mid 20’s and virtually no rain. The Canary Islands have enough to do to keep all of the family entertained; no matter how long you’re staying.

June – Algarve

On the south coast of Portugal is the beautiful Algarve region; one of my favourite destinations in Europe. There’s so much natural beauty as well as an amazing variety of attractions, you’ll be spoilt for choice whilst trying to fit everything into your stay. Temperatures in June reach a warm 28°C on average.

July – Spanish Costas

Whether you’re looking at the Costa Dorada or the Costa del Sol, Spain has a coastal resort with something going on for all of the family. Each of the Costas on the south and east coast of the country have something unique to see and do. Average temperatures reach 30°C in July on the Costa Dorada, which coastal resort will you choose?

August – Turkey

The eastern European country of Turkey is amassed with history and culture as well as excellent Turkish hospitality and amazing hotels. The pine forests that surround the resort of Marmaris make it one of the most beautiful destinations on the Mediterranean coast, whilst other resorts such as Olu Deniz and Antalya have something going on day and night. Don’t miss out on discovering this diverse country with average highs of 34°C in Antalya.

September – Morocco

Morocco is one of the best North African countries to visit in September, after the heat of the summer months has cooled enough for you to enjoy exploring the vibrant city of Marrakech. Temperatures are around 27°C, so don’t miss out on exploring the wonders of this captivating country.

October – Cyprus

As the cold nights start to set in you may want to look for a warm escape. In October you can’t go wrong with Cyprus, the coastal resorts of Paphos and Larnaca have all of the facilities you need for a relaxing holiday. Both have a variety of waterfronts, attractions and beautiful natural surroundings that make them both world class holiday destinations. On this Mediterranean island temperatures average around 27°C in October.

November – The Red Sea

The Red Sea Riviera consists of two of the most popular year round destinations in Europe and North Africa. Sharm El Sheikh and Hurgarda boast some world class hotels and attractions, and with temperatures in the region reaching average highs of 27°C, you can see why so many people choose Egypt for some winter sun.

December – Mexico

If you want to spend Christmas abroad you might as well do it in style; Mexico is the perfect place to go. With miles of white sandy beaches on the edge of the Caribbean, Cancun is a favourite amongst many families looking for luxury and culture in one destination. Temperatures hang around 23°C in December, not to bad considering its usually forecast for rain and snow in the UK.
