You can spend hours trying to find the best resort for your kids. Each one has something different to offer, whether that’s a kids club or a dedicated animation team. Searching can be frustrating, however I have put together a list of things to do and facilities that are perfect for families, especially children.

If you’ve got kids that can swim and love to splash about waterparks are probably the best option for a day out. With slides and pools for all ages, even the adults will be able to get involved. The biggest waterpark in Europe in located in Tenerife, with its Thai theme and tranquil gardens it is also one of the most beautiful. What’s more if you stay in an Aquamania hotel you’ll be able to enter the park for free, meaning you can visit as often as you want.

All-inclusive Resorts

Nowadays all-inclusive resorts have everything you need, if you don’t want to venture out of your hotel you don’t need to. Some resorts come fully equipped with waterparks, spa’s, several pools, private beaches and kids clubs. This is where most all-inclusive resorts set the bench mark but in St Lucia they’ve just gone a step further.

Coconut Bay resort not only has the largest waterpark on the island with a lazy river, slides and waterfall, this 85-acre beach front hotel even offers guests the opportunity to take part in regular paintballing excursions in the hotel grounds. Thanks to the beach front location guests can also learn how to kite surf or use other the other watersport facilities. Coconut Bay is the epitome of an all-inclusive resort.

And just in case you don’t believe how good this resort is, it was the awarded the certificate of excellence by TripAdvisor in 2014.

Kids Club

Kids Clubs are split into different age groups. Kids aged 3-7 can join the Lollo & Bernie kids club, the junior club is for ages 8-11 and the Teen Club for ages 12-15. Each club has a specifically designed programme that will keep everyone entertained. From the mini adventures that kids will embark on with Lollo & Bernie, to the sports tournaments and hang outs in the Teen club. There is something for every age.

All of the staff at the Kids Clubs are fully qualified and offer an excellent service in the family friendly hotels. When choosing a resort perfect for children make sure you look for one that has a Kids Club.
