It looks like we’re not the only ones looking forward to summer! The world-famous Ibiza nightclub ‘Space’ has announced its opening party on the 26th May 2013, kicking off another great holiday season on one of the most beautiful Balearic Islands.

A Long History of Fun

Ibiza has been attracting sun-seeking party-goers since the 1970s. From humble beginnings with hippies dancing on the beaches, to the vibrant nightclub mecca it is today, a winning combination of great music and amazing natural surroundings have kept people coming back year after year.

When people think of clubbing in the sun, they think Space, Pacha and Amnesia in Ibiza. These massive venues look like a playground for the rich and famous, where you can really let your hair down and soak up the VIP atmosphere. Of course, there’s so much more to do on package holidays to Ibiza than go to glitzy superclubs, but if that’s your thing, these clubs are the places to be seen. The opening parties at all three of these favourites are sure to go off with a bang!

Something for Everyone

Ibiza’s not just for fans of dance music. For example, Ibiza Rocks Hotel brings the best pop and indie music to the ‘white isle’ in a series of incredible events. They’ve just announced an amazing line-up of artists for the summer including Ellie Goulding, The Vaccines, Palma Violets and Dizzee Rascal. None other than the mighty Jake Bugg will be kicking things off in style on the 5th June! Whatever music you’re into, you can find the perfect venue to dance the night away to the tunes you love.

Ibiza can seem a little strange for first-timers as the clubs are spread out across the island. If you prefer the convenience of lively restaurants, bars and shops in one place, you may want to head to San Antonio. The famous ‘sunset strip’ has a series of buzzing bars right on the rocks that look across the bay to Ibiza’s legendary sunsets. It’s an unforgettable experience to hear everyone cheering and clapping as the sun goes down at Cafe Del Mar as they get ready for all the night-time fun to begin!

Plenty More to See and Do

With all the talk of partying, it’s easy to forget that Ibiza is an absolutely beautiful island in its own right. Ibiza holidays can mean taking the kids on the beach, trying watersports, dolphin-watching tours, exploring sheltered coves or enjoying the incredible range of fresh seafood available all over the island. If you’re after nothing more than a relaxing break away, an Ibiza holiday could just mean sipping some cocktails by the pool in luxurious surroundings.
